Cancellation and Refund Policy
Fair, Transparent, and Secure Booking Terms
At Temren Travel, we strive to offer the utmost flexibility for your premium Cappadocia experience while ensuring the smooth operation of our private tours and luxury services. Please read our cancellation and refund policy carefully before completing your booking.
1. Standard Tour & Service Cancellations
For most of our private guided tours, airport VIP transfers, and daily activities (excluding Hot Air Balloon flights), the following standard cancellation terms apply:
- More than 48 hours before the service start time: You may cancel your reservation with a 100% full refund. No questions asked.
- 24 to 48 hours before the service start time: A 50% cancellation fee will be applied to cover operational costs and guide reservations. The remaining 50% will be refunded to your original payment method.
- Less than 24 hours before the service start time: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled start time are strictly non-refundable.
2. Hot Air Balloon Flight Cancellations
Hot air ballooning is a highly weather-dependent activity. Safety is our ultimate priority.
WEATHER CANCELLATIONS: If your hot air balloon flight is canceled by the Turkish Civil Aviation Authority due to unsafe weather conditions (wind, rain, fog), you are entitled to a 100% Full Refund. Alternatively, subject to availability, we can attempt to reschedule your flight for the following morning.
If you choose to cancel your confirmed hot air balloon flight for personal reasons, the following policy applies:
- More than 72 hours before flight time: 100% Full Refund.
- 48 to 72 hours before flight time: 50% Refund.
- Less than 48 hours before flight time: Non-refundable. (Due to the limited capacity and high demand for premium baskets, late cancellations result in empty slots that cannot be resold).
3. No-Show Policy
A "No-Show" occurs when a guest fails to appear at the designated pick-up location at the scheduled time without prior notice. In the event of a no-show for any tour, flight, or transfer, the booking will be treated as a last-minute cancellation, and no refund will be issued. Please ensure you are ready in your hotel lobby 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pick-up.
4. Multi-Day Package Tours
For extensive, multi-day Turkey tour packages or customized itineraries that involve domestic flights and hotel reservations arranged by Temren Travel:
- More than 15 days prior to arrival: Full refund minus any non-refundable costs already incurred (e.g., issued domestic flight tickets, non-refundable hotel deposits).
- 7 to 14 days prior to arrival: 50% refund minus incurred costs.
- Less than 7 days prior to arrival: Non-refundable.
5. Refund Processing Time
All approved refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment (Credit Card or Bank Transfer) within 7 to 10 business days. Please note that the exact time it takes for the funds to appear in your account depends entirely on your bank or credit card provider's processing speeds.
How to Request a Cancellation
To request a cancellation or modify your reservation, you must contact us in writing. Verbal cancellations made to guides or drivers will not be accepted.
